These are uncertain and unhealthy times, so we here at Wickedstock.com would like to introduce you to several safety tips for you to practice while you were riding on your motorcycle. Many people feel that some measures are excessive, but remember that Coronavirus is so contagious people are not even allowed into the hospital to see their loved ones pass away, so they die alone.
1. Wear Your Helmet At All Times If You Can
If you have been following the news and watching supplies in the grocery stores and online, then you know that all types of masks, including the n95 masks, are always running low, or they’re entirely unavailable. Many people have decided to sew their cloth masks to have some covering over their nose and mouth when they leave the house. So, to save the few masks that you do have, we suggest that you wear your helmet as much as you can when you’re riding your motorcycle. A helmet motorcycle helmet is not an ideal cover, but it is better than nothing.
No matter where you travel to, you always need to be prepared for crazy turns in the weather. Just because the danger of Coronavirus is now with us doesn’t mean that other hazards have stopped. If you hear news reports of flash floods and rain coming your way, you should have rain gear. We suggest purchasing rain pants with side zippers so you can keep your lower body safe and warm and still be able to hold items in your pocket.
2. Carry Disinfectant Wipes Around With You
Another way to avoid contracting the Coronavirus is to disinfect all the surfaces you touch regularly. This also means that you have to wipe down parts of the motorcycle that you touch after you are done riding it for the day. If you want a jacket that is easy to disinfect with a disinfectant wipe, then you need to buy a mesh motorcycle jacket. This jacket is more durable than other jackets, and it won’t lose its color if you wipe them down with disinfectant wipes.
3. Use Hand Sanitizer Wherever You Can
As you may or have heard from the news and the CDC, Coronavirus can live on top of surfaces for up to 24 hours. So, anytime you touch a surface like a handrail, door, ATM, keypad, grocery cart, and any other things that you touch regularly, you can contract it. Doctors say that the best way to kill Coronavirus is to wash your hands with soap and hot water for 20 seconds, but not everyone can get to a sink with hot water and soap. It is even harder now since many fast food places have their sitting room closed. So, you should keep hand sanitizer with you and use it whenever you should. Coronavirus isn’t able to survive hand sanitizer so you can be safe if you use it.
But the best way to handle touching is to protect yourself from coming into contact with surfaces. Now you can wear rubber gloves, but you have to take them off every time you start riding. So why not buy a pair of mens black leather gloves and not remove them until you return home. You’ll keep your hands clean, and you can disinfectant or wash the gloves.
4. Stay Away From People
Everyone is practicing social distancing now that some places are starting to open up again. Motorcycle drivers aren’t in danger like car drivers, because they don’t have they all share a closed environment with a passenger.
Many people are also wearing jackets to prevent the virus from touching their skin. You can protect yourself by wearing a men’s leather moto jacket. It is cool enough to be worn in warm weather, it smells amazing and will look great on you, and this jacket will match your wardrobe easily. When you’re in a line or a crowd of people, please do your best to stay as far away from them as possible. Crowds cause Coronavirus to spread.
